 Holiday Food Drives - Fourth Annual Food Bank
NORTHRIDGE, California.--Nov 10, 2004-- A success during the last holiday season, leading temperature sensor manufacturer today announced plans to give back to the communities it serves through its third annual "Thermometrics Cans For A Cause," food-collection program that kicks off Monday, November 10.
In an effort to help families in need this holiday season, Thermometrics has set a goal of collecting 500 pounds of canned food.
Food collected will be donated to leading food banks and community organizations in the company's local markets.
"Giving back to the communities we serve is a priority for all of our partners (employees), and a way to say thank you for helping our company grow so quickly," said Jorge Hernandez, General Manager, Thermometrics.
"As an integral part of the communities we serve, we see how great the need is right in our own backyards, and pledge to do our part to make the holidays a little brighter for everyone."
