Thermometrics manufactures thermocouple temperature sensors with weld pad tips. This allows you to mount the temperature sensor to a vessel to insure the temperature sensitive tip remains in contact. The pad is welded on three sides with caution to prevent burn thru penetration of the temperature sensor sheath.
